CNNH Wellness programming provides holistic experiences to support total health, growth and development of the mind, body, and spirit. Groups are designed for those seeking to enhance their natural creativity and overall sense of well-being, and are conducted in a relaxed setting to support a peaceful mind.


Adults – Saturdays, 9am

Help set your intention for 2017 by developing a healthy art journaling practice! This adult group focuses on beginning a mindful art-making practice to incorporate into your routine, aimed at reducing stress, becoming self-aware, and being more “present” in your everyday life. The group will take place in a relaxed, creative setting, with supplies provided, but any additional preferred materials welcome.
*No previous art experience necessary!

Ages 14 to 18 – Wednesdays, 7pm
2017 Dates: Jan 25, Feb 8, Feb 22, Mar 8

Join us for a series of self-esteem building activities. In this workshop, you’ll identify your extraordinary assets, share your ideas, and make meaningful connections. This group is designed to invigorate and empower participants through creative music experiences.

Wednesdays, 7pm
2017 Dates: Feb 1, Mar 1, Apr 5, May 3

Come celebrate your community by joining together in a rhythmic expression of emotion and inner spirit! Participants will gather in a large circle and improvise freely on their percussion instrument. Choose from a wide selection of instruments or bring your own!

Wednesdays, 5pm
2017 Dates: Jan 18, Feb 1, Feb 15, Mar 1

Come together in a group experience developed around transition, growth, and the special relationship between mothers and daughters. This group will combine musical and artistic experiences to allow for enhanced communication, a deeper understanding of each other, and a greater appreciation for your relationship. Supplies provided, but any additional materials welcome.
*No previous art/music experience necessary!

Fridays, 4pm
2017 Dates: Jan 20, Feb 3, Feb 17, Mar 3

Movement-based activities to support the parent/child attachment relationship by increasing ability to read your child’s non-verbal cues. We will explore activities that nurture the child’s motor development; stimulate the sensorimotor system; connect visual, auditory and motor processing; promote nervous system regulation; and inform the development of a sense of self. Activities that provide playful ways for parent and child to develop their attachment relationship.
*Please come comfortably dressed and ready to move together!

Fridays, 6pm
2017 Dates: Jan 27, Feb 10, Feb 24, Mar 10

Parents come together to learn mindfulness skills to enhance abilities to stay connected and calm with your children. Learn movement and mindfulness techniques to minimize stress and increase relaxation. This four-session series will focus on learning and practicing easy to follow techniques to be used in times of frustration. Resources will be provided based on the topics raised by the group.
